What is literature?
Literature is any written body of work.
Literature, in a more restrictive sense, is written work considered to have artistic or intellectual value, or both, in ways that differ from ordinary usage.
Literature is classified into fiction and nonfiction, prose and poetry.
The focus here is on nonfictional prose.
